The Beginning
In our individual capacities, we have been involved in various service-oriented activities, which we felt is our duty, right from our school days. However, it did not give us much satisfaction and fulfillment as it was not in an organized manner. Moreover, we always wanted to do something concrete for society which has equipped us to be what we are today - independent, focused and oriented.
This paved the way to PUNNAGAI (meaning smile) - A Charitable Trust.
If we had continued our work in our individual capacity,the beneficiaries would have been a small section of the society. Hence, we decided to form a secular organization which would grow day by day by inducting like-minded individuals and we can together reach out and touch the lives of many.

Our mission
To perform our duty of uplifting the people, moving towards a wholly developed nation, socially and economically.
Our focus is on :
- Education and personality development of the younger generation, especially the less fortunate & challenged ones.
- Provide dignity in life, particularly to the senior citizens and establish a sense of belonging, wantedness, a sense of purpose.
